Welcome to Fast48 …

Well, I finally got this blog up and running.  I’ve thought about doing it for quite some time, but just never had the time to get it going.  Of course I didn’t want just a “blog”, I wanted to update my race portfolio (which was a bit dated) and give it a fresh, clean look. 

With that, I grabbed a new domain name here, as everything in the past has been tied off of the Witchkraft Racing site, so you can call this a derivative of that (if you will).

In any event, the 2006 season  is full of new challenges.  I’m riding for Brighton Superbike this year on the Yamaha R6, which should be pretty exciting.  Not only did I take a year off from racing, but I decided to come back in probably the most competitive class around, on a type of bike I’ve never ridden before.  “Brilliant!” you might say.  Well, might as well take the plunge and go off the deep end.  It’ll be fun – and definitely a learning experience in learning how to ride a middleweight machine.

So stay tuned to the site here, as I’ll be posting on it quite frequently.  The goal is to keep things interesting; with race reports, press releases, quotes, sponsor/product info, updated image galleries, mindless banter … generally my 2006 racing logbook.  Those who have followed the Witchkraft site know that’s how it’s been for a few years now – this is hopefully taking that to the next level and doing a bit more with it.
