Suspension Preparations

Shock Work

The latest work on the bike has been to the shock.  Joe had already gone through the forks and made sure they were good to go, altering the fluid level/air cushion slightly for Barber.  Then onto the shock, he took it apart, rebuilt it, then took it apart and checked it again.  Thorough.

We have a special spring on order to try at Barber as well.  It's a smaller-increment rate change compared to what's normally available and gives us a little more fine tuning on some of the stuff we want to do.  Last year at Barber, we only had two spring options and one didn't work well at all, which left us playing with preload and clickers instead.  We'll see – it might help, it might not.
