Windham Acres 2012 Invitational

This past weekend was the Windham Acres Invitational.  It stemmed from the dirt track we've been working on since last year and riding our XR100's on.  The track's become surprisingly good, technical and fast – enough where we decided to have a little event.  Gina and her cousin Emily made up the trophy you see above which was perfect.  We had 10 guys/gals in the Knockout-Superpole event with my brother Matt ending up the winner.  Rules were simple – XR100's or TTR 125's were allowed.  Stock everything including exhaust.   After practice, Superpole was one warm up lap and one timed hot lap that determined if you made it to the next round.  Push for a good time, but not too hard or you'll mess up and it'll cost you.  It was good fun and I think everyone had a good time, as the track was in great shape after some rain earlier in the week.

Matt rode great and his job is now to somehow improve the trophy for the "Fall Classic Invitational" we'll have later in the year, where I'm sure everyone will be gunning for him now.  :)
