Hanshaw Racing Engines

From a press release issued by Hanshaw Engines:

October 17, 2011 – South Lyon, MI – Jamie Hanshaw, owner and sole builder of Hanshaw Racing Engines will be offering fall specials for engine rebuilds.  Jamie has been building engines for 16 years, including motors for AMA teams, WERA, CCS and numerous club racers, as well as the every day trackday rider. Hanshaw Engines, located in the midwest state of Michigan has built a strong following of customers and will be expanding on that heading into the 2012 season.

Hanshaw Engines have won numerous expert-level races and class championships over the years and most recently, has enjoyed success at the AMA level, with one of his engines finishing inside the top 10 at the AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike Race held at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course this season.  Finishing a 9th and 11th place respectively with the witchkraft Racing team, the team's bike was 3rd-fastest in the trap speeds after race one, competing against the deep level of talent and teams in the AMA Pro paddock.

Jamie states, "Mid Ohio was good.  It isn't really known as a horsepower track but a lot of passing takes place at the end of the long back straight so we knew that having a strong engine would help. We did a special engine build for this track with different cam timing that improved peak power and straight line speed.  Our goal is to make our customers happy by building specific engines all the way from AMA engines that are on par with factory teams to trackday and streetbike engines."

Hanshaw Racing Engines is committed to building the fastest and most reliable engines possible. Jamie specializes in building custom engines that will meet your specific needs.  Hanshaw Racing Engines is now running fall engine building specials for customers looking to get an early start on the 2012 season.
