Kart 2 Kart Season Kickoff a Success

Thanks to everyone for coming out yesterday and making our first season kickoff a success. We had great food, great racing, and I hope everyone had a good time. Congrats to my cousin Ryan for winning the first main, along with my buddy Eric winning the second main in impressive fashion. We had a 5-kart freight train in the third main, with some great fun throughout the whole race and everyone running nearly the same laptimes.
A big thank you to Kart 2 Kart for their support. Also a sincere thank you to Gina and my dad (Joe), who helped organize/coordinate the event, making it run as smoothly as it did. Thank you also to my aunts (Teri and Kathy) who helped sell tickets for our 50/50 raffle, which also went extremely well. Everybody of course wanted to win, but it's hard to complain when grandma wins the whole thing. :)
Thanks also to the fellow racers who came out and supported this addictive habit. Jay, Justin, JB, Dan, Jason, Mike, Jeff and Jim. It was really cool to have you guys there and I really appreciated it. There's something to be said when your fellow competition comes out, and I think that says a lot about the character of some of the guys I race with. Very cool indeed.
Lastly, thanks to Jeff for the pictures (credit for the one you see above), along with my mom as well who was snapping pictures all afternoon. I'll have some most posted in the Flickr section of the site within the next few days.
Cheers!
Eddie
