The Buckeye State
Wrist rehab has been continuing to go well. At Grattan a few weeks ago I was at probably 55% or so if I had to give an estimate. Now, I'm in the 60-65% range. It's not a fast process, but little by little it's getting better. ...

Redemption
Every night and every morning since, the ache has been there. The painful scar of defeat and the lingering feeling of disappointment. It sets in more for me than with most. Not winning doesn't often bring this level of discontent, but right now it's more apparent than ever.Every day - morning breakfast .. what went wrong? Afternoon lunch .. what could I have done better? ...

Random Quick Hits
Some have been asking what I think of Jeff being added to the team for next year. I think it's great. When Honda East was looking for someone to represent them, I suggested he as one who fit the bill. Fast, consistent, but most importantly - down to earth, level-headed, outgoing and super easy to talk ...

Evening Couple Conversation
Last night Gina and I were talking about racing. And at one point in the conversation, it went something like this: Me: "G, do you think I'm a good rider?"Gina: "Yes I do."Me: "Seriously. You've watched enough. Am I .. Or am I just running around out there for the hell of it .."Gina: "Yes - you're good. You're very good at the technical aspect of it ...

I Feel Slightly Better ..
... about crashing that is. In a recent article posted on Superbike Planet, Julian Ryder talks about Jorge Lorenzo's recent highside:"So how come Jorge Lorenzo managed to replicate the classic 500cc-era highside crash on the first day of the Chinese GP? It was a slow-speed crash but Jorge was flicked a long way up in the air, at one point he ...

On the Attack
Not just with the Kawasaki team, but also in terms of who is building our motors this year. Attack Kawasaki is already looking strong for the upcoming season and has one guy Chaz finds as an especially good asset. Courtesy of Road Racer X:http://www.roadracerx.com/article.php?article_id=738

Thank You for Nothing
It's common for riders to thank the people who have helped them along to way. Without help from family, friends and sponsors, racing competitively (if at all) would be nearly impossible for many. It takes a lot of effort and more than one person to make it happen. Along the way there have been countless people that have been supportive and helped me accomplish what ...

I Never Liked Buying Bottled Water ..
I found an article today about bottled water. It said that if we paid as much for tap water as we do for the water we buy at Costco (or any other store selling water in such containers), that most people would have a monthly water bill of over $9,000... and now I like buying bottled water even less.

Have a Happy Easter ..
.. because Roger and Joe said so.Bob (Watson) and I will be freezing our tails off at Putnam Park during the holiday weekend. Go figure it was 70 and sunny last weekend, with a lovely high predicted to be in the 40s this weekend. I don't think there'll ...
